What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUMMIT COUNTY Superintendent position at Actalent?
Description:
- We are currently seeking a Superintendent with experience on ground-up multi-family and commercial projects
- This company is looking for candidates who are interested in working in the Front Range OR Summit County
- If you are willing to work in Summit County, you will receive $2,500/month of untaxed money towards housing, and once the project is done (usually around 1.5 years) you will have the opportunity to come back to the Front Range, or continue in Summit County if there are more projects up there
- This company specializes in design-build and design-assist projects where our creativity, knowledge, and experience can be used to add value to the design and development process and bring together the talents of all parties involved
- They have about 40 people in board, 6 PM's that are all based in Boulder
- Projects are $10M-$15M on average
- They have built many diverse projects including multi-family residential, retail, offices, restaurants, historical renovations, education, and medical
- The individual hired will be primarily supporting housing projects, this company primarily works on affordable housing projects that range from 40-150 unit projects
- Most of their work is negotiated work versus hard bid
- Culture is team oriented with a client focus - they are very collaborative
Responsibilities:
- Superintendents manage one project at a time and are responsible for subcontractor performance, schedule, quality control, coordination, safety, and inspections
- The Superintendent is the primary point of contact on site during construction
- The Superintendent works closely with the Project Manager and, depending on the size of the project, the Project Engineer
- This company operates primarily in the design/build and design/assist project delivery methods

Qualifications:
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role
- Candidates should have experience creating a master schedule with a scheduling software (could be MS Project or other Primavera products, Asta, etc.)
