Survey Design Technician
Job Description:
Actalent is looking for a Survey Design Technician to support a National Civil Engineering Firm located in the Bowling Green area. This is a GREAT opportunity for a land surveyor that is looking to get into the office and learn the design aspect of the role! This individual will be responsible for preparing survey and civil drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare boundary surveys and plat drawings under the supervision of a Professional Surveyor.
- Process field data and prepare topographic survey drawings.
- Prepare utility basemap drawings.
- Prepare various site plans and utility plans.
- Prepare construction layout drawings.
- Prepare as-built drawings from field notes and survey data.
- Follow project schedules and internal budgets.
- Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Survey experience OR Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation.
- Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Survey or Civil related CAD drafting preferred.
- Word and Excel experience.
