Test Technician (Navy Fire Controls) - Newport, RI
Job Description
Actalent is seeking a Test Technician with prior experience as a Navy Fire Controls Technician and hands-on experience with the Navy's AN/BYG-1 Tactical Control System (TCS). This role involves conducting subsystem and system of systems testing, working in an Agile environment with engineers across the program to verify deliveries to the Navy, analyzing how our software meets system, functional, and performance requirements, installing test bays, and troubleshooting anomalies. The ideal candidate will communicate and proactively resolve issues with engineers from other subsystems to determine where issues lie and how they can be addressed as a project team.
Hard Skills
- Hands-on experience with the Navy's AN/BYG-1 Tactical Control Systems
- Experience testing in Agile development
- US Navy Submarine experience
- Knowledge of Test Engineering concepts
