Description:
Assist with the identification, communication, and resolution of utility conflicts on Transportation/Roadway projects.
Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project documents, time and budget management.
Assist with and conduct meetings and presentations both in person and virtual.
Assist with the management and coordination of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations, schedule and submittals.
Frequent communication, both verbal and written, between project managers, clients and utility owners to ensure project schedules are met and are compliant with federal, state and local laws, in addition to any other regulations required by the client.
Perform utility records research, obtaining project utility company contacts, preparing contact ledgers and utility conflict tracking reports.
Assist with and prepare client deliverables, utility exhibits, project guides, project reviews, project invoices, expense reports and project monitoring/field verification as needed.
Work as a member of a design team in preparation of the following elements of roadway and highway design using local (state, county or city) or AASHTO standards: horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout and sight distance determination, interchange layout, roadway drainage, and right-of-way plans
Work with a team in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for projects of various sizes and complexity
Produce some of the following plans: Roadway Sections, Alignment/Right of Way Plans, Temporary Erosion Control Plans, Site Preparation Plans, Roadway Profiles, Drainage Plans and Profiles, Utility Plans, Paving, Pavement Marking Plans, Signing Plans, and Traffic Control Plans
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to read and understand civil engineering design plans
Basic Microstation or AutoCAD experience
Position requires strong communication, both verbal and written, organization skills, attention to detail, scheduling and problem-solving skills
