Water Resources Civil Engineer

Overview:

• One of the top Civil Engineering firms in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the team in Newtown, PA. The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on Water Resources jobs within Land Development/Municipal engineering projects individually or as part of a project team under the direction of a professional engineer.

Job Description:

• The Civil Engineer executes technical work assignments on water resources engineering projects individually or as part of a project team.
• Responsible for managing water resources projects from start to finish, and handling the day-to-day tasks that accompany representing a municipal authority.
• Provide design services for water and wastewater facilities.
• Assist with preparing Federal and State regulatory permit applications and plans.
• Assist with preparing bid plans and specifications.
• Compose letters, memoranda, reports, applications and studies.
• Perform site investigations, construction observation and field reconnaissance.
• Review private development plans for compliance with applicable authority water and sewer standards.
• Assist Project Manager to establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients, subcontractors, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, or related Engineering field.
• EIT or PE strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit.
