JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of this role is the operational leadership of a Project Work Site. The position requires a full understanding of the Environmental services that the hiring line division provides along with the ability to work successfully with all other divisions in a fast-paced work environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the overall day to day direction of personnel and operational efforts on Project sites to include accompanying administrative management of all Project assigned resources.
2. Assign and coordinate operational resources required to execute each Project.
3. Responsible for Health & Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and financial performance.
4. Maintain appropriate visibility at customer sites, focusing on the execution of work and issue resolution.
5. Executes training programs for assigned service lines.
6. Ensures Project assigned operational personnel and equipment resources are available when needed. Includes the coordination of procuring Project resources external to the division (consultants, temporary labor, sub-contractors, and other AR divisions).
7. Conducts Project-related operations meetings with key personnel and Clients.
8. Oversee the repair and maintenance of Project assigned equipment.
9. Responsible for all Project related financial and operational metrics and budgets.
10. Seizes Project-specific sales and business development opportunities to market and grow All Enterprise services offered and communicates the same to Business Development leads.
11. Collaborates with Sales ensuring that the Project-specific accomplishments are communicated and captured for future marketing efforts.
12. Travel extensively to Project sites for up to 7 or more months out of the year. Endure long term Project assignments lasting up to one month without a break or rotation. Coordinate rotation and breaks with the Project Manager in advance to avoid loss of continuity of the Project Schedule.
13. Participate in employee development by completing personnel evaluation for personnel assigned to Projects and develop personnel in your charge with an emphasis on imparting personnel skills and operational capabilities.
14. Execute and determine how to adjust Project-specific means and methods to ensure project profit and safety objectives, as defined by the project estimate/proposal/budget or the Project’s established financial/contractual obligations.
15. Participate in the development of work plans as required by the PM to establish a road map for project completion.
16. Implement the Company’s financial and business development tracking programs on a Regional/Project specific level as directed by the Branch / Business Line Manager and or Project Manager.
17. Provide operational input to the PM on Project change orders.
18. Assist, as required by the PM, in authoring specific client correspondence to ensure proper documentation for all significant deviations in the project approach/schedule.
19. Assist the PM, as required in completing invoicing and collection tasks.
20. Between project assignments, provide scoping and procurement assistance in developing estimates for bids.
21. And, other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Eight years experience in the Environmental field.
• Five years experience as a Supervisor in the Environmental field preferred.
• Experience and ability in using Microsoft Office suite
• Preference experience and ability in using Microsoft Project or other CPM scheduling software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Drivers license and ability to travel.
• Previously led teams and managed remote locations preferred.
