Summary:
We are currently seeking an Order Entry Specialist to join our team and become part of our professional, positive and upbeat environment. The Order Entry Specialist’s primary responsibility is to ensure that customers receive the proper products delivered to the proper location in a timely manner and at the price quoted. This position is highly detail oriented and requires the ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Enter Sales Orders in Quick Books
- Ensure Sales Orders match customer PO’s and our estimates for accuracy
- Send order acknowledgements including estimated ship dates and details to customers
- Complete and communicate any changes to existing orders prior to shipping with customers and our shipping department.
- Process and handle customer requests, orders, and other customer-related matters pertaining to order coordination and logistics
- Additional job functions as defined by management
Typical Education and Experience Required:
- College Graduate or comparable work experience
- 1-3 years of related work experience; Order Entry/Customer Service experience a plus.
Other Knowledge Requirements:
- Must be able to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a team as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
