In this role, you will be working with the Assistant Controller to maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers while performing general bookkeeping responsibilities.
Some Of Your Day-to-day Tasks
- Perform material/inventory costing, ensuring that costs are accurate and current. This will include problem-solving, understanding what actions need to be taken to cost a part, and working with purchasing and engineering to cost new parts.
- Record various general ledger transactions and accounting for various aspects of the business.
- Assist with managing sales & use tax compliance.
- Perform various balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist in the month-end close process, including performing journal entries.
- Update and maintain policies and procedures documentation for GL accounts.
- Entry-level accounting position with 0 -1 years related experience.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing is preferred.
- Familiar with ERP systems and their basic functionality is a plus.
- Good with numbers and details!
