An international manufacturing company is looking for a PLC Programmer.
PLC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on electrical design schematics, control systems for automation equipment
- Program standard controllers and other PLCs
- Write and install computer programs
- Communicate with customers to determine feasibility of requests and suggest improvements to designs
- Evaluate electrical/electronic components for control systems
- Work with customers, service personnel, and sales team as technical resource
- Travel to customer locations to resolve problems
- Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability, and troubleshooting system errors
- Complete other tasks as requested
PLC Programmer Requirements:
- Engineering Degree preferred
- At least 2 years experience PLC programming preferred
- Must have mathematical skills
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work responsibly and effectively
- Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
- This position will not support relocation costs
