Active Aging, Inc is the non-profit Area Agency on Aging for Crawford County, PA. We are responsible for assisting individuals over 60 with accessing and obtaining the services they need in our community.

Active Aging, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, reliable, and caring person to serve as our SHARE (Shared Housing and Resource Exchange) Housing Counselor in Crawford County. The SHARE program seeks to match homeowners willing to share space in their homes with individuals seeking affordable housing options. At least one of the individuals must be over 60.

A successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 credits in social sciences, or experience/education equivalent as well as strong, person-centered communication skills, comfort in public speaking, proficient computer competence, and a willingness to be a present and committed member of our team.

This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week. Hours will be flexible to accommodate speaking engagements and meetings. Travel will be required throughout Crawford County. Program specific training will be provided.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
