Client Settings: Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute, Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, Assisted Living and Memory Care, Hospice Clinics, Hospitals, Correctional Facilities, Schools, and Urgent Care
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
- Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
- Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
- Assist the physician in complex nursing situations.
- Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
- Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.
- Functions as a resource person and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standards.
- Acts on patients, resident’s behalf to assure patient rights and wellness.
Qualifications:
- Current state license as an RN
- Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Elder Abuse Certification
- Pre Service Infection Certification
- CPR/BLS
- Covid Vaccination
- 2TB or Chest X-Ray/Q-Gold/T-spot/QuantiFeron
