What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human resource assistant position at Acuity Insurance?
Acuity is seeking a Human Resources and Culture Assistant with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
The role will support the Human Resources and Corporate Relations functions, reporting to Human Resources and working closely with the Director of Culture and Community.
This candidate will be required to work at Acuity’s headquarters at least 2-3 days per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Provides support to Human Resources and Corporate Relations. Execution includes but is not limited to :
- Provide essential departmental record-keeping, document processing, and invoicing and reimbursement support.
- Support the hiring process, including reference checks and assisting with new hire onboarding activities.
- Help coordinate logistics for onsite and offsite corporate events.
- Administer tasks for programs such as employee service awards and recognition programs, health club reimbursements, employee surveys, HR communications, gift distribution, Connections Clubs, DEIB initiatives, and other programs.
- Supports scheduling and attendee management for Officer programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Associate degree or 2-5 years of direct, relevant experience
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS :
- Use care with confidential information with the highest integrity.
- Represent Acuity in a professional manner.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Adhere to company policies and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
