Job Responsibilities:
- Administrative Duties:
- Perform a mix of insurance-related administrative and functional tasks.
- Prepare and verify insurance claim forms and related documents.
- Contact insured individuals or other involved parties to obtain missing information from applications and claims.
- File applications for insurance policies and maintain records of insurance transactions.
- Track customers’ payments and maintain a calendar of premiums due and policy expiration dates.
- Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
- Route calls and communications to specific staff members as necessary.
- Calculate premiums for customers upon request and determine the amount of claims when they are filed.
- Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of various administrative reports.
- Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing insurance claims and billing.
- Experienced in medical business operations, and transactions for insurance billing programs to include third-party billing and collections.
- Experience with TRICARE is preferred.
- Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License.
- Must have a valid US Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
- Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen.
- Must be current in all required certifications.
- Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.
- Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.
- A normal workweek is established by the Program Manager.
- Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Safely performs duties and follows the corporate safety policy.
- Participates in and supports safety meetings, training, and goals.
- Ensures safe operating conditions within the area of responsibility.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
