Position reports to Global Foundries for 7:00am-3:30pm shift Monday- Friday
ACV Enviro is looking for individuals with a positive attitude, willingness to be trained and wanting growth potential. We work at the largest industrial sites in the state such as paper mills, lumber mills and power plants. As a working member of the team you will be utilizing the latest technologies to accomplish our industrial cleaning projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform work under the direct guidance of a Supervisor.
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Daily work will involve confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing and various other remedial activities.
- Full time with the opportunity for overtime. May require out of town travel.
- Ability to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold)
- Physically able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary and lift > 50lbs routinely
- Accountability and punctuality
- Preforms other, related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing
- Pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening
- Pass the Company's Auto Insurance Qualifiers
- Pass the OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hour training
- Must be 18 Years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s License required and clean MVR record for three years

Physical Demands
To perform the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; minimum of 25 pounds, wear a respirator and climb up and down ladders and reach with hands and arms with use of a step stool; occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds for movement of boxes and supplies. Must be able to reach, kneel, life and move heavy supplies.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This position is exposed to maintenance areas subject to OSHA which include safety precautions.
