Adams County Workforce and Business Center (WBC) is seeking a candidate to provide comprehensive case management services to ensure compliance with WBC grants. This successful candidate will process documentation, provide ongoing case management, and follow-up services. Candidate will understand the relationship between employer engagement, workforce development, and community partners to coordinate grant performance outcomes by linking all appropriate resources.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Maintain assigned caseload by leadership; Manage a caseload of job seekers according to federal, state, and local grant requirements to provide services to include but not limited to work readiness, leadership development, training services, academic support, and work-based learning activities to meet established performance indicators. Ensure confidentiality of all files and records, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, guidance, policies, and procedures. Develop and maintain contacts with businesses, community organizations and educational institutions for the purpose of outreach, recruitment, training, employer work-based learning needs and positive public relations as required by assigned grant.Enroll job seekers per grant requirements; collect and document eligibility and appropriateness prior to service delivery; develop education/employment plans, ensure proper signatures as required on all forms; enter all necessary information into the statewide database system; add documentation to the case file. Meet with, contact, and provide services to job seekers according to grant policy and guidelines, adhering to established standard of work time frames. Work collaboratively and collegially with other staff, employers, and other funded partners to ensure grant success. Provide excellent customer service in all phases of work with job seekers, schools, and employers, focusing on problem resolution. Attend community outreach events as required. Communicate regularly with leadership regarding caseload performance, challenges, and all essential duties Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Experience: Two (2) years case management or related experience working in pre-employment assessment, workforce development, vocational rehabilitation or related field. Experience in an employment center or similar professional work environment is highly desirable.Experience with Connecting Colorado and CBMS highly desirable. Experience working with businesses, employers, community partners, low income, unemployed, under-employed and/or diverse populations is preferred.Education and Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Human Services, Career Counseling, Educational/Guidance Counseling or a related field.OR Demonstrated two years of experience related to the Essential Duties, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities may be substituted. License and Certificate: Must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver's license.Background Check: Must pass a criminal background checkBilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
