We are now expanding into a brand-new SaaS product portfolio of cloud-native solutions that will drive hyper-growth for the company and create tremendous opportunities for the team. As part of this growth, we are seeking a UX Engineer to join our team. This position will require you to be a passionate advocate for user centricity and also a fundamental nature to dig deeper on user requests to understand the true nature of problem.
This position is based at our headquarters in Kirkland, WA.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with cross sectional teams to understand the needs of the customer and the product and suggest improvements to the design and usability.
- Interface onsite with Engineers and the Product Management team to collaborate and create a high value, best in class user-centric product and implement world-class solutions for our enterprise clients.
- Help the Award winning team ship exceptional user experiences and establish clear definitions of quality.
- Be the evangelist to a user-centric way of working by collaboratively working with user research, continuous measurement and testing, working closely onsite in a highly collaborative environment.
- Support and help drive consistent design standards in a highly driven, passionate work environment where everyone supports each other in order to do their best work.
What you bring to the table for experience:
- At least 5 years of industry experience with a deep understanding of Human Centered Design and how design impacts development and development effects design.
- 2-3 years of experience with Product Design specifically for enterprise applications.
- Experience working client-side on products at a software development company.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work with other team members and departments to successfully meet market demand.
- Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS products and developer tools.
- An understanding of cloud infrastructure and experience with related platforms.
- An advanced degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
