Summary The Corporate Trainer is responsible for creating, developing, delivering, and monitoring instructor-led, Learning Management System (LMS), and remedial training relating to the corporate training needs of ADC. The position requires a high-level proficiency in the ability to create and maintain engaging, professional, and accurate training materials. This includes the use of professional writing techniques and a high proficiency in understanding of the English language. The Corporate Trainer works in online systems (TalentLMS/Dayforce and web-based medias) as well as in-person to deliver aspects of the training. This position requires an in-depth working knowledge of federal background investigation guidelines as well as ADC’s policies and procedures across a variety of departments and contracts. The Corporate Trainer will also be responsible for onboarding and initial training of new corporate employees as well as one-on-one mentorship with staff and the ability to identify and adjust training curriculums to suit individual needs. The Corporate Trainer is responsible for the creation, facilitation and updating of training content as assigned by the Corporate Training Lead or ADC management. This position requires regular communication with personnel at all levels of the company. Coordination and attendance of planning and implementation meetings is a requirement.   Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Perform all other duties, as assigned Research and maintain knowledge of agency and company requirements to be included in training documents. Work as a team and be independently motivated. Understand and utilize multiple training modalities to include by not limited to, PowerPoint, ADC Academy (Talent LMS) and ZoomGov to facilitate training needs for ADC. Maintain a high level of professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a high-level understanding of professionalism in written and verbal forms to include correct usage of grammar, spelling, and formatting. Prioritize work tasks according to the level of sensitivity. Achieve objectives set by Supervisory Lead Trainer and ADC management. Handle personally identifiable, sensitive and confidential information. May be tasked with providing overflow coverage of PSID related positions to maintain first-hand knowledge to aid in training expertise.  Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the position as directed.   Performance Metrics Track and note all projects so timeline and progress can be checked by supervisor. Complete project components by set due date as indicated by supervisor. Full attendance for each new hire or transfer student as set by syllabi. If session runs shorter than indicated time, the trainer is filling the excess time with 1v1 skills, second level skills, or reinforcement of material. Trainer will be evaluated on success of new hires whether there is a metric to move into new role, or just a retention requirement. However, evaluation will consider the new hire’s skill set, and aptitude for learning. When no trainee’s are present 60% of the day should be devoted to project development and content updates in the Corporate role. Education, Experience and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree desired Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance. Have a minimum of an Interim Secret clearance if undergoing Top Secret investigation or ability to maintain contract approvals Extensive computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint in particular). Experience with general administrative tools - telephones, copier, scanner, and fax. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, including possessing interpersonal skills, customer service skills, dealing with different personalities and maintaining a professional appearance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competency in the use of the English language Ability to effectively and professionally communicate via telephone, email, messaging, video or public setting Ability to multi-task effectively Strong organizations skills with high attention to detail Possess prior demonstrated experience in training and learning management   Supervisory Responsibility This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities.   Work Authorization/Security Clearance Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and drug screen. In addition to the completion of a federal background investigation and while in the process of obtaining a Top Secret Clearance, must be able to obtain an interim clearance and/or appropriate agency approvals. Upon receipt of Top Secret clearance, must be able to maintain active Top Secret clearance and all agency approvals required of their position.   Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, schedule to be determined between the core hours of 6:30 a.m. MST and 6:00 p.m. MST. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.   Telework Eligibility ADC offers full-time, hybrid and emergency telework arrangements for eligible employees when strategic priorities, specific work requirements and the employee and supervisor are suited for such an arrangement. Guidelines have been established to assist the employee in efficient production of their job duties and sets forth the expectations to be followed if a regular full-time, hybrid or emergency telework arrangement is approved.   Work Environment & Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using the phone.   Probation Six-month probation at start of initial employment and/or when position is new for the employee.   Travel Some minimal travel may be required.   Benefits Full benefit package as outlined per ADC policies and procedures.    ADC LTD NM is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
