Maintenance Scheduler

This position is based in Massachusetts. Applicants must be willing to relocate.

We are looking for a Maintenance Scheduler to support a key client in the oil and gas industry by performing the scheduling of maintenance based on priority and availability of resources. Applicants should have working knowledge of CMMS.

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance scheduling for operating area(s) for an oil and gas client, which includes the following responsibilities:
  • Utilize software, ClickScheduler, to schedule corrective and planned maintenance orders utilizing priority constraints or in alignment to asset criticality and priority activities
  • Bundle work for equipment and schedule concurrent opportunities.
  • Reviews labor, materials, tools, vehicles, services and all prerequisites, job plan documentation as required; updates schedule dates for requisition.
  • Monitor and track schedule execution & compliance (on time, late, early deliveries) through the system
  • Verify Work Orders in backlog have appropriate time frame for execution.
  • Coordinates outage requirements with Regional Outage Coordinator where required
  • Adjust Schedule (de-schedule work) based on unavailability of crew / craft resource in consultation with Area Ops Supervisor
  • Integrate & optimize schedules (Project / O&M work fronts) across equipment, facility/station, & P/L system to meet Commercial & Program requirements
  • Facilitate Schedule review sessions and optimization sessions for Feedback with Operations/Maintenance and other stakeholders
  • Reviews completed schedules with Area Supervisor to determine jobs that were completed vs. scheduled to determine causes for any incomplete jobs.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

We are considering all levels of experience for this role (Junior, Intermediate, or Senior) and provided compensation will match experience level. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in scheduling maintenance in the oil and gas or energy sector. Salary is dependent on experience.

Desirable knowledge & Experience:

· Scheduling experience specific to operations/maintenance work orders

· Experience with CMMS (SAP, Maximo)

· Previous experience in a client-facing role

· Experience with ClickSchedule Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
