Addison Group has a client located in the northwest suburb area who is actively looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have 2 years of working as an Accounting Assistant or Bookkeeper. The ideal candidates will have previously processed Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and possess intermediate Excel skills. This full-time Accounting Assistant position has a salary ranging from $52000 - $55000 depending on qualifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Process JE, GL, AR/AP, and assist with other areas as needed
- Create reports for Loan payments
- Resolve discrepancies in the accounts
- Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize projects and ability to meet deadlines
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Intermediate Excel
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
