Addison Group's client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join their team in Philadelphia, PA! This is a direct hire position and the salary is $130,000.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of organizations or businesses to ensure continuing operations, to maximize returns on investments, or to increase productivity.
  • Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
  • Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them.
  • Direct or coordinate an organization's financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, 5 of which must be in a Senior HR Leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Master's in HR is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Must have experience in HR policy development
  • Must have extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, wage, and salary, laws and regulations
  • Impeccable communication skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a successful, driven leader that is dedicated to enhancing HR
