Job Title: LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
JOB SUMMARY
The Logistics Coordinator manages general operations related to logistics and sales, serves as a point of contact for customers, and ensures everything is on schedule to meet or exceed deadlines.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Logistics Manager
Direct Reports: None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages all customer shipments.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal material handlers, clients, and other service providers in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
- Manages consignment and after-consignment movements from initial shipment of material to invoicing of consumed product.
- Creates transport orders with shipping carriers.
- Creates and ensures accuracy of packing slips.
- Collaborates with shipping carrier teams to solve any transport issues that may arise.
- Ensures that all outgoing product has the correct paperwork attached.
- Creates and sends customer invoices.
- Creates Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) for all shipments.
- Manages internal shipments via UPS.
- Assistance with Build Order (B.O.) management.
- Manages Material reception in ERP System (4D).
- Assistance with quarterly inventory.
- Coordinates and supports the sales cycle from RFQ creation to sourcing decision.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office
- Ability to effectively collaborate within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and skills
- Good time-management skills
- Attention to detail.
- Manufacturing experience (preferred)
EDUCATION AND LANGUAGE
- Bachelor’s degree in business management (preferred)
- English (fluent); Spanish/French (preferred)
