SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The basic function of the position of Human Resources Manager at Adkev, Inc. is to provide direction and manage the human resource tasks, which includes but is not limited to recruitment, retention, and training responsibilities as well as the overall coordination of all personnel areas. The incumbent is required to train and address all duties and responsibilities and maintain standards in accordance with stated requirements and IATF16949 standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or personnel administration or comparable experience.
Licensing/Registration/Certification
PHR and/or SPHR or qualification within 1 year of hire.
Experience
· Required: 5 years Human Resources experience in manufacturing environment
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
· Knowledge of all areas of employment law, benefit policies and procedures
· IATF16949 standards that apply to training processes and reporting, to include development of and/or the calculation of any applicable metrics or standards.
· Ability to work closely with groups of people, including company employees at all levels, suppliers, competitors, sub-contractors, and other outside professionals with whom the company deals with on a regular basis.
· Ability to work extended hours, odd hours, weekends, as required to meet job requirements. Flexibility to support 3-shift operation.
RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES
- Development of planning efforts that meet company strategic goals.
- Implement personnel policies and procedures.
- Coordinate recruiting, including interviewing and selecting applicants for hire.
- Review salary levels and submit documentation for proposed changes.
- Investigate allegations of employee’s misconduct to include discrimination claims, recommend appropriate staff action, if necessary
- Oversee employee terminations.
- Direct investigation of workers compensation claims and completion of documentation
- Assess program needs in training, benefits, wages, labor, and employee relations and communicate recommendations to management team.
- Identify potential employee relations problems and advise management in resolving questions, problems, and disputes.
- Provide guidance to management in implementing and communicating personnel, compensation and benefit policies and procedures.
- Strength in HRIS systems development and application.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
