The STS Group is a stock listed, globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS Group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Program Manager for STS Heavy Trucks to join our North American HQ team in Troy, MI and manage the STS program in the US for Volvo Trucks. This location is a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in office and the other remote.
The Program Manager has the overall responsibility to meet the program milestones on time and adhere to the deliverables outlined within the APG Product Development Process (PDP). The Program Manager is accountable for the program team and is responsible for their execution of the program deliverables. The program responsibility begins at Order in House and ends at SOP 90 days assuming all PDP deliverables are complete.
The following is a summary of the duties and responsibilities of the Program Manager:
- Secure program profitability: AS the "Program CEO" the goal is to meet or exceed the agreed Program EDITDA Targets.
- Maintain customer relationships: Meet APG and customer milestones on time and with zero quality or customer dissatisfiers.
- Tooling optimization: On time or early tooling recovery, while meeting or exceeding the tooling budget. Captial Expenditure (CAPEX) optimization and re-use of current assets.
- Flawless program development and launch: Develop close teamwork with corporate and manufacturing teams.
- Use of Program Management System (PO360) while adhering to the APG Product Development Process (PDP).
