Content plays a large role in marketing at. We build our community and connect with our customers through the production of high value, relevant, targeted content. The Content team is responsible for seeking out and producing stories that educate, encourage, and empower filmmakers and video professionals.
The Content Editor will be responsible for editing customer-facing content geared toward video and film professionals. This role demands a self-starting, driven mind that's capable of working as an editor and core collaborator who helps deliver content for our blog, theInsider.
The ideal candidate will have ample experience in video production/post-production, and sharp talent for editorial and educational storytelling.
- Work with internal and external writers to take technical stories from outline to completion for theInsider
- Maintain style and editorial standards for content
- Collaborate and communicate with the operations lead and blog team to take articles to completion
- Assist in managing relationships with our contributor network
- Source and develop multimedia assets that enrich stories
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver content for theInsider
- Exceptional grammar and writing skills, and ability to explain complex topics clearly in plain English
- 5-10 years' experience working for a publisher (physical or online) in the tech or video industries
- Detailed understanding of video workflows from pre-production all the way to delivery
- Excellent research, analytical, and rhetorical skills that help distill complex topics and make them more easily understood
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with external partners and internal collaborators
- An eagerness to learn new technical skills and tools
- HTML and Photoshop skills a plus
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
