What You’ll Work On
- Coach and manage a team focused on advancing the strategies, systems, and foundational tools (brand platform, brand architecture strategy, purpose and promise, values, verbal identity (voice), and employee value proposition), that empower internal and external teams to build and grow our brand.
- Collaborate with key partners across Marketing and the Business to drive competitive differentiation for strategic brands across our portfolio, with audiences ranging from consumer to Enterprise.
- Partner with Integrated Marketing, Advertising and Creative to develop briefs that inspire competitive marketing strategies and compelling creative execution.
- Cultivate consumer, competitive and market insights through data and information analysis to inform brand, product, and audience strategies across our businesses.
- Build strong, ongoing understanding of the industries we compete in to be a knowledgeable authority on our business and to bring fresh, relevant points of view to the work at hand (and, to inspire the team)
- Develop the case and advocate for investing in our brand as a competitive advantage to unlock growth audiences and drive our business.
- Forge relationships with internal teams and senior leadership across the organization (e.g., Product, Product Marketing, Creative, Advertising, Corporate Strategy, etc.).
- Modernize Adobe’s brand management function, including building an external facing brand center, simplifying processes and tools, and employee brand engagement
- Champion brand purpose, ensuring it is integrated into the definition of our brand and part of how we build the brand across everything we do
- Attract, assess, retain, and develop talent by creating an environment that provides direction, continuous learning and development, and commitment to common vision.
- 15 years' experience in the brand, marketing strategy and/or brand consulting space
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (MBA preferred)
- Proven experience leading brand definition, architecture, identity, brand voice, and brand experience for global brands - especially complex brands spanning consumer and Enterprise businesses
- Passion and energy for building, leading, and inspiring a diverse team and for working collaboratively to influence collaborators and decision making at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business sense balanced with collaboration and leadership skills, combined with optimism, curiosity, and a creative mind
- Ability to form relationships and inspire cross-discipline teams to do their best work
- Comfort with co-creation processes and a belief that some of the best work comes from strong partnerships with stakeholders
- Strong analytics capabilities and understanding of market research, consumer insights, and digital metrics
- Collaborative, passionate, enthusiastic approach grounded in strategy but flexible enough to excel in a changing world
- Exceptional organization and presentation skills
- High level of executive presence, communication and social skills required
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
