THIS IS NOT A JUNIOR POSITION. YOU MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE AND THE ABILITY TO DIRECT WORK AND CLOSE DEALS.

We handle all aspects of the real estate life cycle from acquisitions and architectural and engineering design to construction/development and property management.
We are seeking a high energy and detail-oriented Leasing Manager for our newly completed and upcoming multifamily properties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and capable of managing the full life cycle of the leasing process from prospect to move-in. The Leasing Manager will play a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Residential leasing, including but not limited to: cold calling inbound leads, following up with prospects, screening tenants, negotiating the lease, drafting the lease using Yardi software and DocuSign and following through to execution
- Schedule showings and conduct tours for potential tenants' vacant residential units
- Manage Yardi CRM IQ system to maintain a customer list that includes how the company received the lead, steps taken to reach out to the lead, dates and times discussed, etc.
- Directly supervise a staff of 1 Leasing Agent
- Work with Property Administrator, Maintenance and Accounting personnel
- Manage work schedules of leasing staff and external brokers to optimize property coverage for tours and move-ins/outs
- Regularly report to ownership the status of upcoming vacancies and communicate steps taken to keep properties occupancy high
- Collaborate and advise ownership on leasing strategies
- Maintain current knowledge of market and competitor properties to ensure properties are priced correctly
- Coordinate the move in and move out processes with the maintenance team to ensure timely apartment turnover
- Assist residents with lease signing, move-in orientation, and apartment inspections as needed
- Professionally communicate and build great relationships with prospects over e-mail and phone
- Be able to close deals and “sell”
- Coordinate local promotional events as required
- Review upcoming vacancies, reach out to tenants to find out if they want to renew, handle renewals
- Ensuring the properties present well by having a keen eye for detail and relaying any deficiencies to maintenance team/management to correct
- Ensure Fair Housing and company policy compliance throughout all leasing efforts
