What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at ADORNIA?
Adornia Jewelry is looking for a Director of Operations to oversee our shipping team, oversee buying and purchasing, inventory management. Candidate must have 3-5 years of management and shipping experience. Must be smart, quick learner, hard working, detail oriented, super motivated, a leader. MUST BE ON TIME. Tasks include:
1. Hiring, firing, and overseeing schedule for employees
2. Leading team to complete shipment of orders
3. Learning organizational system in warehouse; picking and packing of orders
4. Training new staff on shipping procedures
5. Managing and ordering supplies
6. Analyzing sales and buying inventory, managing factories
7. Overseeing customer service functions
8. Paying employees weekly
9. Returns processing
10. Inventory management and controls
Spanish a plus, but not 100% necessary.
Bonus pay for busy shipping weeks and annual bonus paid out in December. Full health benefits and 2-weeks vacation paid.
We start working at 7 or 8 AM every morning. Mondays we finish around 5-6 PM. Tues thru Friday we finish around 2-3 PM. Holidays holiday weekends are especially busy times for us.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
