In this role, you will work with ADP’s clients to shape up project scope, gather requirements, prioritize go live functionalities, and be responsible for end-to-end solution design for our growing Human Capital Management platform. You carry the weight of ADP’s service reputation and client excitement in your hands.
The nature of what you do every day will not change – your #1 goal is to help clients. Still, every day will be different because the challenges you solve will vary, as will the solutions you provide each client. There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, and you will partner with our Implementation specialists, Product owners and Leadership to actively solution for these.
To thrive in this role, you must be curious in understanding the “why”,” what”,” how”, “when”, “where” of our client’s business processes across HCM domains. You will need to be comfortable writing use case stories, working with process diagrams and step-by-step writeups, and establishing client needs based on requirements. You will “own” a client solution landscape and need to be comfortable articulating to broad audiences internally and externally.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
- Client Support. Participate in client design conversations and meetings involving requirements gathering, deep dive domain analyses, prioritization of must/nice to haves, showcase ADP Product capabilities. Iterate on scalable, in-depth processes (with associated artifacts, documents, templates) to uncover client requirements including systems integrations, global needs, regulatory & compliance restrictions, core HR (Human Resources) processes, payroll scenarios & others
- Learn. You will continually expand your knowledge and skills on ADP product offerings, across domains of HR, payroll, talent etc. You will also grow the breadth and depth of understanding a wide variety of client business processes and how HCM needs varies across organizations of all types. This advanced product and industry wealth of experience and knowledge will increase your consulting effectiveness over time.
- Organize. Capture client scope and design requirements and document for review with product teams and formal client sign off
- Collaborate. Work with product teams to share client requirements, risks, and trade-offs. Ensure necessary program-wide alignment on go live readiness for prospective client needs
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: (Required Qualifications)
- 3-5 years' experience in HCM consulting, service or implementation in a client-facing role (solutions architect, business analyst, consultant, business technologist, sales engineer) or managed HRIS technology for your organization
What is important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:
- Experience leading complex client conversations to uncover business and system requirements
- Experience working with product or technology implementation teams to communicate client requirements, tradeoffs, and timing
- Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to prototype and rapidly solve problems
- Passion for driving the Employee Experience through digital HR tools
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Business process mapping in Visio experience a plus)
- Required Travel: about 25% (in normal times)

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
