ADP is hiring a Mainframe Engineer

In this role, you will join a growing team as an Apprentice Mainframe Engineer.  We are seeking applicants that are motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a positive attitude.


In this role you will work with our Infrastructure Engineering team and be responsible for installing new software, trouble shooting issues, and working with our business partners to maintain, upgrade and tune our existing systems.

 

To thrive in this career, you'll have completed, at a minimum, an IBM Z Mainframe System Administrator Course.  You strive to learn new technologies and find ways to incorporate what you learn. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support & Problem-Solving. You'll start your day with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears as needed throughout your assigned support day.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent
  • At a minimum, completed the IBM Z Mainframe System Administrator Course
  • Good work ethic
  • Enthusiasm to learn
