In this role, you will perform amended filing functions as assigned. Meets both quality and production standards established for this level. Respond to Agency, Payroll Center and Client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor established turnaround guidelines.

What you’ll do:

  • File/amend tax returns timely in accordance with Agency, Region and Client requirements.
  • Research client, agency and payroll center inquiries and respond in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Assist in training of new employees and procedures.
  • Develops and updates current filing/research records and procedure.
  • Telephone contact with internal and external areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Thorough knowledge of research and filing procedures and resources.
  • Thorough knowledge of the automated tax system.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Meets deadlines with accuracy.
  • Organizational skills are a must.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can work overtime hours during peak seasons upon approval.

 

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

  • High School diploma required
  • At least 4 quarter ends of multi-jurisdiction filing experience.

Experience noted above, OR

  • Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
