As an Advance Local Strategist with NJ Advance Media, you'll be on the front line of new products and technologies, continually providing up-to-date solutions for clients and taking ownership of client success. You'll work with top accounts, developing and owning the market strategy and sales positioning, helping to cultivate account relationships through needs analysis, and identifying and implementing campaign plans.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop digital marketing strategies for new and existing clients, in partnership with department managers, account managers, sales reps, and creative teams, ensuring brand consistency across all client assets (including regular quality checks)
- Assist in scheduling and coordination of client whiteboard/collaboration sessions with Sales teams and solution leads to gather information needed to build strategy
- Spearhead gathering of research, insights, and strategies from department leads to apply insights/data and create client-specific digital briefs and campaign plans
- Leverage MS PowerPoint to build presentations based on research and direction from collaboration session to deliver to Management/Sales for client presentation
- Leverage SalesForce and Excel to track company pipeline and sales efforts in order to identify areas of opportunity to explore with Sales for growth
- Attend, participate in and/or support relevant training and solution-based collaboration meetings to learn about updates and rollouts and share with relevant teams
- Stay up-to-date on current and emerging industry trends and technology to provide the most cutting-edge insights and guidance to clients and the agency at large
- Monitor and analyze performance across clients' digital channels to track engagement, providing insights from media monitoring, and performance analytics to help optimize client campaigns and identify areas of upsell
- Collaborate with fulfillment team guiding the development of client facing reporting dashboards
- Develop and optimize clients' overall digital content strategy, as well as measure engagement and impact over time
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience with multiple forms of digital media including display, mobile, video, search and social
- Excellent organization, data analysis, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
