We are seeking a Senior Grants Management Analyst to provide grants management support to the Department of Transportation (DOT). The Office of Acquisition and Grants Management provides discretionary grant assistance and policy development and oversight for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and negotiates, awards, and administers grants and cooperative agreements for a wide range of research, specialized studies, construction, and other activities necessary to support the DOT, FHWA Headquarters Offices, Resource Center program offices, and Division Office. This is a remote position.
The Senior Grants Management Analyst functions in a senior level acquisition management capacity with a focus on grants and cooperative agreements. This position provides grants support services to the FHWA and requires an expert understanding of the full grant lifecycle, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve difficult situations. Experience in grant management with the DOT is a pre-requisite for this position.
Other responsibilities of this position will be to:

Demonstrate mastery knowledge and skill of concepts, principles, policies, procedures, and practices to plan and carry out all activities related to the highly complex aspects in grants management

Provide expert technical advice and consultation in all grants management areas including pre-award, post-award, and price/cost analysis

Implement new developments, and provide policy interpretation to program managers and other leadership staff
Minimum Requirements/Required:
-
Bachelor's degree
-
Minimum of six years of grants and/or acquisition experience, cradle to grave

Experience in grant management with the DOT (Department of Transportation)

Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Assistance practices and policies, including 2 CFR Part 200, DOT Guide to Financial Assistance, and other Governmental regulations and policies

Eligibility for public Trust clearance, US citizenship required
