Job Summary:

The Unit Supply Specialist Instructor is a member of the ADC APS-2 Maintenance New Equipment Training Team (NETT) and will have the ability to transfer existing knowledge and/or expertise on supply and logistics management. Instructors ensure students are equipped to manage inventory, maintain supply systems, and schedule and perform maintenance. The instruction and training provided will be thorough enough to provide the APS-2 with a fully trained Specialist capable of maintaining APS-2 assigned supplies and equipment.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide performance-oriented classroom and hands-on instruction in accordance with TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction (POI) within appropriate skill set area to students.
• Instruction will include classroom/on-the-job field conference instruction, discussion, demonstration, practical exercises, and testing.
• Must be able to serve in a team environment.
• Assist in revising lesson plans as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

• Retired or former military.
• Successfully attended US Army Basic Instructor School or equivalent.
• Experience as an Automated Logistical Specialist MOS 92A or equivalent.
• Experience or proven ability conducting Training in both classroom and hands-on environment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must have a current passport.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and bend continuously for up to 6 hours a day.
• Must be able to pick up and carry 50 lbs for more than 100 feet, 10 times a day.
• Must be able to climb unassisted on, in and around equipment listed above.
• Must be able to work with hand tools while standing, sitting, laying, or kneeling.

Desired Requirements:

• Experience as an Instructor/Trainer.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
