Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Manage patient registration and update patient records with accuracy.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to appropriate staff.
- Assist in Accountable Care Organization (ACO) initiatives for office.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and faxing documents.
- Ensure confidentiality of all patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using medical office software and patient management systems.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
