Each one of our Pharmaceutical Sales Reps will represent our new pharmaceutical and healthcare services to a physician client list. As one of our successful Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives you will be in a multi-faceted field selling position responsible to drive usage and recommendation amongst healthcare professionals in your assigned territory. You will collaborate with your manager to develop/implement strategies and pharmaceutical sales business plans that deliver sales and volume targets. As Pharmaceutical Sales Rep you will develop expertise in areas such as product knowledge, persuasive selling and technical support.
Our Pharmaceutical Sales Rep Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business pharmaceutical sales representative relationships with targeted physicians, health care providers and customers focusing on the promotion of our innovative products
- Create, maintain and increase pharmaceutical sales within designated territory by influencing the prescribing habit and healthcare supplies of the targeted audience.
- All of our Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives will call on health care providers and health-related organizations within assigned territory.
- Understand impact of local purchasing coalitions, Group Purchasing Organizations, IDNs and other health organizations in geography.
- Communicate and partner regularly with other AMRs to successfully manage accounts that overlap across multiple geographies.
- Evaluate and monitor pharmaceutical sales rep data reports weekly to manage business needs promptly and effectively.
- Demonstrate advanced business acumen and pharmaceutical sales rep account acumen management skills
- Communicate contract measurement details to accounts when necessary.
- Follow up on leads among offices that have expressed interest in learning more about the Company’s products.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all pharmaceutical products by effectively communicating appropriate clinical, technical, therapeutic, disease state and product information to customers.
- Successfully promote the appropriate on-label use of approved products.
- Develop and deliver informative pharmaceutical sales presentations based on individual customer needs to maximize sales of the product portfolio.
- Maintain up-to-date database to document pharmaceutical sales call information, trends, future call objectives, sampling data and overall territory performance.
- Complete routine reports and be compliant with industry, regulatory and company guidelines.
- Must maintain all current industry Pharmaceutical Sales Rep credentials and certifications.
- Prepare annual business plans and conduct quarterly analysis of the territory performance vs. plan.
- Manage usage and inventory of promotional items to be given away to offices.
- Manage promotional budget effectively and in a compliant manner.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Pharmaceutical Sales Rep Knowledge, Skills & Abilities to qualify for job openings:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Must have and understanding of the healthcare industry with some pharmaceutical awareness
- Excellent analytical skills and proven strategic thinker
- Must be able to acquire all industry certification and credentials.
- Advanced Skill in organization and follow-up remotely with ZOOM software
- Skill in negotiation and selling techniques with demonstrated accountability in executing sales plans
- Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product relation information
- Highly motivated for success with a “can do” attitude
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Ability to manage multiple projects both inside and outside the organization
- Ability to execute effective business plans for assigned territory
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, discretion and compliance to industry ethical guidelines
- Demonstrates assertive selling techniques including asking for business on every call
