Job Characteristics

Working knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
Motor control and Relay Logic knowledge
Hands-on, technical ability with an electrical and mechanical aptitude.
Problem solving, thorough, and detail oriented with technical work duties, communications, and tasks.
Strong commitment to tasks completed on time in a faster-than-average pace environment.
Self-motivated, organized, ability and desire to document processes, high quality standards, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
Must possess a strong adherence to established guidelines and procedures when completing assigned work duties.
Above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work.
Ability to communicate with precision, diligence, and thoroughness.

Job Responsibilities

Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems
Assist in implementation of robotic systems, optimize automation of parts handling
Assist in the ramp up of new equipment
Understand maintenance requirements for equipment, support PM, identify and drive improvement opportunities to increase the reliability of our manufacturing equipment
Reports potentially dangerous electrical equipment to supervisor and takes steps to resolve the issue.
Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.
Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions in order to perform duties.
Document best practices, standardize work, create work instructions, develop training materials, and train manufacturing staff to spread the knowledge gained across all shifts
Support continuous improvement projects throughout the facility
Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
Ability to fill in on production floor if a constraint arises
Perform tasks assigned by Director of Operations and Manufacturing Manager

Requirements

Engineering associate degree or equivalent experience
3 years of manufacturing experience related to electronics troubleshooting and repair
A relevant certificate or license may be required
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, PLC programming, ladder logic
