Our rapidly growing technology company is hiring! For over two decades, Advanced Powder Products, Inc. (APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Our proprietary technologies, ProtoMIM® and Printalloy® position APP as the first choice for some of the largest original equipment manufacturers (OEM) in the country. We design, engineer and produce metal components that improve the performance of our clients’ medical devices, hand tools, defense, and sporting goods.

Job Characteristics
- Specialized, technical oriented position that involves varied activities with multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks
- Strong technical and analytical content in a fast-paced environment

- Must provide clear, direct, authoritative direction to others
- Task focused, with a main role to provide primarily technical, analytical skills to the team
- Strong authoritative leadership focused on efficient, accurate, quality work output
- Job requires close control of process, tasks, and results
- Set up and operate various equipment – Extruders, Molders, Furnaces, CNC, EDM, Surface grinders, 3D Metal Printers
- Design, build, and setup machining, sizing and secondary metal working operations
- Utilize engineering programs ie: Solidworks, MasterCam for prototype, tooling and fixture design
- Assist with the design and approval of injection molding tooling
- Assist implementation of robotic systems
- Perform and document engineering and manufacturing process activities
- Document process and create work instructions for manufacturing products
- Identify solutions to technical problems
- Engineering associate degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to operate vertical and CNC mills, surface grinders, molding machines, or furnaces
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook, Minitab
- Experience with Solidworks and MasterCam or equivalent
- Ability to travel to vendors ,customers, etc.
