(APP) has been developing and manufacturing complex net-shape components using metal injection molding (MIM) and 3D metal printing technologies for the medical, industrial and defense industries. Job Characteristics:
- Focus on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures
- Requires patience and willingness to handle and complete task, usually one at a time
- Work output must be precise and consistent
- Work is steady, methodical and job routines must be completed on time and error-free
- Work is technical with analytical focus
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process, and final dimensional visual inspections on products
- Perform work in quality lab and on the production floor
- Record and enter data from inspections into statistical process control software as needed
- Work with supervision to assess compliance to the product requirements
- Perform density, carbon, and hardness measurements
- Assist with daily shipment organization and packaging
- Assist with FAI and report preparation
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1-year manufacturing experience
- Proficient use of basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, drop gages, optical comparator)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Must be safety conscious and present self in a clean, well-kept manner
- Orderly and responsible with equipment and work area
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
