We are seeking a receptionist who has experience working with a medical office that specializes in pain management. The position requires working directly with patients, and our clients are looking for a very specific skill set. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using the computerized tracking system, and will have an excellent understanding of all of the doctors' nuances so they can keep the staff informed about each patient's preferences and scheduled appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Answer questions and redirect callers to staff members as needed.
- Schedule patients for appointments.
- Update patients' medical records and insurance information.
- Interact with various levels of employees within the organization.
- Interact with patients and their family members.
- Interact with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
