Admin Assistant
1st shift, 7:00am-4:30pm
Rate: $20
This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the HR Manager, Plant Manager, and Safety Officer. Position manages the phone system, greets visitors, and manages the visitor-vendor-database.
FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in Human Resources by providing various supports, including managing reimbursement programs, Visitor/Vendor database.
- Answers main telephone lines and directs callers to appropriate departments.
- Greets visitors/vendors and verifies that all GMP/Safety/NDA paperwork is complete before allowing access to the facility.
- Provides administrative support to the Temporary and Hourly weekly payroll processes.
- Coordinates temporary worker recruiting and invoicing.
- Facillitates new hire and safety orientation training.
- Assists in planning, organizing, and facilitating employee engagement activities.
- Provides administrative support to the Safety Officer, position is back-up for the site safety coordinator.
- Serves as point of contact and resource to employees in issues of benefits and training.
- Assists the Plant Manager by providing general administrative, reporting, and clerical duties as requested.
- Provides support to other departments when time permits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years related work experience with 1-2 years previous human resources experience.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word and Outlook) and Internet software. Ideal candidate will have an advanced knowledge of Email and Powerpoint. Workday HRIS experience helpful.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations/issues and maintain
