Advantage Security is currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources (HR) Manager. The HR Manager will be involved with all HR functions including recruitment efforts, employee training, file management, benefit administration, compliance, employee relations and various other company-wide initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively with HR staff and other departments to ensure optimum service and performance goals are achieved.
- Oversees the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, and assignments of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Writes policies and procedures that follow local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
- Performs employee investigations and maintains sensitive employee records.
- Oversees benefit administration to include health insurance, 401k, dental, vacation and sick time.
- Prepares, generates, and analyzes ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to employee personnel information and data, including staffing levels, turnover, recruitment, applicant tracking, affirmative action/EEO, and compensation.
- Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of personnel records (including employee licenses and certifications).
- Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
- Oversees various HR projects and daily workflow of the department.
- Assists Portfolio Managers with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Responds to, tracks, and follows up with unemployment claims.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
- Preferred experience working with various software and ATS systems.
- Proven competency in HR functions (e.g., onboarding, employee compensation, benefits administration, employee correspondence, unemployment correspondence, I9s, E-Verify, Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), and worker’s compensation.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Perceptive and capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising or managing people.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred, but not required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
