Position Summary
We are actively seeking a Market Manager to support a national sampling program for Anheuser Busch in the St. Louis, MO market. The Market Manager will oversee execution of weekly on premise and off premise sampling events in key accounts. Candidates must be highly motivated, and results oriented.

REQUIREMENTS

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Work is performed in a retail in-store/bar/restaurant environment and some weekend event activation required.
Typically requires the ability to spend 66% hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated sections).
The use of proper safety practices when handling the products is essential.
Driving is an essential duty and function of this job and therefore must be able to maintain a valid and current driver’s license.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related industry experience
Personal computer and home internet access.
Proficiency in Microsoft platforms including Word, PPT, excel, Outlook.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Market Manager will be responsible for building their team of Brand Ambassadors to execute these activations – working closely with local wholesaler team(s) to schedule appropriate accounts in order to meet execution goals to assist in sales growth for a variety of Anheuser-Busch brands.
Manages all aspects of Brand Ambassador team including recruitment, training, weekly event execution, and reporting
Provides direction to Brand Ambassadors while continuously evaluating performance
Responsible for creating Brand Ambassador schedule while adhering to program goals
Maintains a working partnership with local wholesaler and key accounts
Performs pre-calls and checklists in preparation for sampling events
Ensures Brand Ambassadors are properly equipped with merchandise and materials needed to execute sampling events
Monitors event execution while ensuring all key brand KPIs are achieved
Submits program deliverables accurately and on time each week
Knowledge of local alcohol beverage laws

Position Summary
The Regional Manager Field Operations is a fast paced position responsible for staffing, training, and motivating full-time District Managers who manage a team of full time Club Supervisors and part time Event Specialists to drive sales and execution through one-to-one consumer engagement occasions for an assigned geographic territory. This position is responsible for the final interviewing and hiring of the DM team, managing all aspects of their training and development, as well as ensuring completion of all reports/deliverables, and overall performance to the goals and metrics of the program. Focus is on building client relationships and driving measurable sales results through outstanding program execution.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Team Management
- Regularly travel to markets for purpose of, but not limited to; District Manager development, retail/club/event audits and performance reviews
- Overall performance management of District Managers providing direction, guidance, and support where necessary
- Develop employees for career advancement and succession planning
Field Operations Management
- Drive professional and value oriented relationships with key account Field Regional/District/Market (RM/RVP, DM) retail management to drive positive relationships
- Use reports and presentations to highlight success and/or improvement areas relative to program execution – performance vs. performance objectives, competitive intelligence, key market initiatives, wins, losses, opportunities, and challenges
- Work collaboratively with support and internal operations team in areas including, but not limited to, report development, event execution, financial control, and coverage model execution/revisions
- Conduct weekly conference calls with DM to communicate program updates and strategic priorities
- Manage budget for assigned geographic area to maximize revenue and profit and lowering workman’s compensation claims by enforcing a safe work environment
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration or Operations Management
- 3-5 years of experience in Operations
- Experience working in an agency, retail, CPG or CE environment
- Experience managing full time salaried managers as well as part time associates
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Good interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
