Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to function as a member of the Enterprise Resource Planning System support team to provide support activities to the local systems and the corporate office for the ERP Supply Chain application. This position is responsible to work with local systems to optimize the use of the ERP Supply Chain application and serve as a front line gatekeeper to the Supply Chain ERP model for the organization. This position may be called upon to assist in application go-live activities associated with the Supply Chain application, or additional sub-modules to the Supply Chain application.
Essential Functions
Ability to interpret, execute and support BSMH Supply Chain ERP system and organizational parameters (model).
Ability to review and understand issue related documentation, studies and reports to determine appropriate recommendations to resolve production issue.
Works the IT support system to provide direct support to Supply Chain ERP product suite users.
Assists in implementing techniques to improve implementation support as warranted and overall system productivity. Works towards identifying techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies mitigate risks and help to identify best Supply Chain practices across the system.
Assists with the testing of the ERP Supply Chain product suite when new patches, service packs or version upgrades are made available. This would include the development of testing scenarios.
Assists in the identification of standard reports to the application customer and determines when a standardized adhoc report application would be most appropriate. Develops adhoc report via specifications from the customer.
Assists as requested with the training effort of key individuals within the local system or Corporate office Supply Chain Departments to the ERP Supply Chain product suite.
Provides technical and analytical skills to troubleshoot, analyze and identify key issues and recommends corrections or course of action
Responds to internal and external system audit inquiries as directed.
Assist in automation projects assigned to drive supply chain productivity and strategic efforts, reduce manual intervention and drive efficiencies

Two years’ experience in working with Supply Chain ERP applications
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
High performing organizational skills to manage projects and timelines. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to positively communicate and work with end users. Must have advance Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Access experience. Prior experience as a Buyer, Technician, Materials Management System Administrator or Manager within a health care setting highly preferred. Advance application troubleshooting skills; technical knowledge of dataflow and databases;
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred
Strong familiarity with healthcare systems terminology; understanding of logistics processes. Ability to research, organize and analyze data to support effective decision-making and troubleshooting.
