What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Representative for Clinical Trials position at Advarra?
Advarra is looking for individuals with a science, healthcare, or safety background to serve as a community representative on a panel that reviews clinical trials, particularly for gene therapy.
Location: Remote. In-person attendance is not required, as meetings are held online. You must have a computer with access to the internet. Video cameras are not needed to attend meetings. During meetings, you will hear the committee's discussion and see the materials we present during the meeting.
Benefits: Training provided. Community representatives/members are paid for completing online training ($150) and a flat rate per meeting attended ($150). Meeting times are flexible and scheduled based on committee member availability. We are asking for a minimal time commitment (remote, part-time, side work) which includes about 2 hours for online training and attending 1 to 2-hour(s) long committee meetings, held on an as-needed basis, whenever we have a study to review in the area.
