About the Job
The Office Manager supports a call-center/customer service environment, including the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring a positive work environment that promotes employee development through hands-on management, training and coaching
- Ensuring professional standards and company policies are met in interactions with customers, employees, and vendors, taking corrective action and making recommendations when needed
- Boosting customer satisfaction, growth, and retention
- Scheduling delivery, service and sales appointments, ensuring the efficient allocation of company resources
- Analyzing data to make recommendations to improve customer service and retention and bring in new business
- Managing financial reports and the expense control and reporting inventories
- Managing the customer information system and credit and collections, ensuring accurate data
About You
Qualifications for this role include:
- 3 years of direct management experience, including office or customer service management
- Experience supporting active employee development
- Ability to bring together teams from siloed departments
- Knowledge of accounting functions, including payroll, budgeting and AR/AP
- Strong experience in customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Business degree with an emphasis in accounting, or related business administration experience preferred
- Experience in the water conditioning industry a plus
