The role you’ll contribute:
This position participates in the coordination and planning of all catered meals and events, functions as an active member of the Department’s Management Team and evaluates food quality and preparedness.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Ensures the production of high quality and creative foods for catered events.
Ensures timely delivery and set-up of all catered events.
Ensures timely retrieval of Nutrition Services resources following catered events.
Monitors department productivity and makes appropriate changes in staffing to ensure compliance to established standards.
Maintains current knowledge of department POS system and participates in department activities related to cash reconciliation. Assists in departmental activities related to cash reconciliation.
Assists with food inventorying, ordering, and stocking.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
High school graduate or GED.
Two (2) years of experience in catering and/or hospital industry.
One (1) year of experience in food procurement, menu planning, inventory control, and record keeping.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous experience in supervisory role.
Previous experience in healthcare setting.
Completion of Dietary Management course.
Certified Dietary Manager
ServSafe Certification
