The Company:
ADVICS Manufacturing Ohio, Inc. is a leading OEM automotive supplier located in Lebanon, Ohio (just North of Kings Island). We manufacture the highest quality and most competitive disc brake components. By utilizing the Just-In-Time production model we are able to identify and solve problems efficiently at virtually every step of the manufacturing process. ADVICS meets challenges before they arise allowing us to produce "world class" quality calipers, antilock braking systems and electric parking brake.
The Role:
A Facilities Engineer, under general supervision, is responsible for documenting, maintaining, planning, and improving the building, utilities and equipment according to applicable regulations assigned budgets and production requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop site and plant layouts, electrical, mechanical, fire protection and HVAC prints under general direction of Facilities Assistant Manager.
- Includes creation and improvement of processes, and procedures such as: Capital Requests, Equipment operation and start-up procedures, lock out tag out procedures, and preventative maintenance schedules under the direction of Facilities Assistant Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university; generally entry level up to 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment or similar function is required or equivalent combination of education and experience
