About you –
You are currently a registered representative, or you are a recent graduate of a 4-year university with a concentration in finance/business. Ideally you have experience working in a high level professional financial planning practice where you have supported individual advisors. These are the skills you possess:
· You have outstanding financial analysis skills, and ideally at least one year of experience with development of financial plans
· You can pivot to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
· You are accurate, tenacious when it comes to follow through, and details rarely slip through your grasp
· You are self-motivated, exhibit a can-do attitude, and you have a growth mindset
· You are adept at communicating clearly and warmly with clients
· You present yourself professionally at all times, whether in person or by phone
The Job Responsibilities –
· Provide manufacturing support for financial plans, investment proposals and reviews (eMoney & MoneyGuidePro & Omni-Source)
· Prepare and process investment and insurance applications
· Work directly with clients on service questions and interface with vendors and the broker/dealer
· Handle investment analysis, re-balancing and trading
· Assist advisor in maintaining a compliant practice
· Provides administrative support to the team when needed
· Interacts with associates and clients in a courteous and respectful manner
· Create great looking documents in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Utilize Red Tail CRM to document activities, tasks, transactions, etc.
Key requirements –
· 1 year prior financial planning experience supporting a financial planner
· Experience with CRM/Database and financial systems would be helpful (Redtail, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Omni-Source)
· Ideally, you have completed the FINRA SIE Exam or Series 7 securities license plus Texas Life & Health insurance
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
· Strong technical proficiency in learning new systems
· Adheres to a business professional dress code
