Eligibility Specialist
Duties:
- Conduct eligibility assessments and determine program eligibility for clients patients
- Collect and review required documentation from client patients
- Provide guidance and assistance to clients patients in completing application forms
- Conduct interviews with clients patients to gather necessary information
- Utilize crisis management techniques to assist clients patients in difficult situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client patient records and case files
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery
-Collects patients co-pays and deductibles at point of service.
- Stay informed about program policies, procedures, and regulations
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
