Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Systems Technician - Denver, CO
AE2S is seeking an I&C Systems Technician to lead our I&C and SCADA business development in Denver, CO area. They will also be responsible for implementing SCADA systems to existing clients in the area.
Responsibilities
- Grow our existing I&C/SCADA market.
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation and control system components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control issues by reading control wiring schematics and PLC logic.
- Assist in business development activities which may include identification, evaluation, pursuit, and/or management of project opportunities.
- Maintain and modify existing water and wastewater control systems.
- Some travel required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other employees
Basic Requirements
- Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Electronics Technology, Automation Controls, or similar field.
- 3-5 years relatable experience.
- Experience with programming, start-up, commissioning, and service of complex instrumentation and control systems.
- Experience with device integration using industry standard equipment (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, GE, Wonderware, Ignition, etc.)
- Ability to communication effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- Experience with RSLogix 500 and 5000 ladder logic programming, Allen-Bradley PanelView programming, and Ethernet networking.

- Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities

Physical Demands
- Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
- Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
